The spring art show is fast approaching! Save the date for May 14th from 5-7pm. Come and view the work, chat with the artists and enjoy a light snack. Then, stay for some Juried Art Awards and the NAHS Induction Ceremony. This is a great night to come and support the Arts!
June 6th at 6pm
The Gallery of the Boroughs in C211 is hosting a Farewell Exhibition for Mr. Hancin. George Hancin has been a teacher here at Algonquin Regional High School for 23 years, and is retiring this June! Come and wish him luck in his retirement, while viewing his collection of personal artworks from over the years. This is your chance to stop in and honor this Algonquin Legend! Light refreshments will be served.
Tomorrow 25 student artworks will be displayed side-by-side with floral interpretations completed by the Southborough Gardeners Association in a collaborative Art in Bloom. This is the second time the Algonquin Art Department has teamed up with the Gardeners to host this event. The Community Advocate wrote a great article teasing the show! Check to see if you know any of the participating artists below, and come by and congratulate them. Stop by the opening and show your support for the arts!
